About Us
Established in 1985 MARTOPEARL alloys is a leading foundry for manufacture of steel & Alloy steel castings, Hi-Chrome Mill internals & Grinding media for various industries such as Cement, Thermal power plant, Mining & Minerals, Crusher & Aggregates, Engineering & Infra, Pulp & Paper, Steel Plants, Petro Chemical and OEM’s. It is into the design, development and manufacturing of castings ranging from 5Kg to 7000 Kg single piece.
Melting & Moulding
Moulding section is equipped with continuous sand mixers, different sizes of batch type of mixers and pneumatic Rammers etc. We have induction melting furnaces of capacities of 4MT, 3MT, 1.2MT, 1MT and 0.2 MT with which we can make castings ranging from 5Kg to 7000Kg single piece.
Fettling
Fettling sections equipped with Air Compressors, Swing Grinders, Surface Grinder, Gas Cutting, Welding Sets etc.
Heat Treatment
Heat Treatments like Annealing, Normalizing, Hardening & tempering etc. are carried out in continuous type and Batch type Electric Furnaces with Automatic Temperature controllers and Recorders.
Quality Control
For achieving the highest standard end products MAPL has constantly endeavoured to include quality consciousness among the personnel in various departments. A System in Quality assurance has been evolved there by all activities are performed to specific written procedures & standards.
Chemical & Physical Laboratory
Laboratory is fully equipped with modern instruments and apparatus for final analysis of the melt like SPECTROMETER, which is imported from Germany. Physical laboratory is equipped with UTM, Hardness testers and impact testing, Microstructure Testing.
NDT (Non-Destructive Testing Facilities) Lab
Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant Testing, Ultrasonic Testing & Radiography is arranged upon request.
